More women at the helm: Top ASX companies inching closer to 40%

The October edition of the Gender Diversity Snapshot shows the ASX 100, 200 and 300 edging closer to the 40 per cent milestone as at 30 September 2025.

After several years of steady growth, female appointment rates appear to be levelling off in 2025, highlighting the ongoing need to strengthen the pipeline of board-ready women and ensure continued progress towards balanced representation.

Leadership roles remain an area of focus, with only 46 women serving as Chairs across the ASX 300 and none in the ASX 20.

This edition also features a spotlight on HUB24, an ASX100 company that has achieved gender balance at board level through deliberate succession planning, clear targets and an ongoing commitment to diversity of skills and experience.
