Our membership grades are designed to reflect the varying degrees of experience—and commitment—that individual leaders and executives bring to the director community. The membership grade abbreviations also serve as post-nominals you can use on your LinkedIn profile.

Affiliate (AAICD). <p>Becoming an Affiliate signifies your desire to stay informed on governance trends as an area of interest, or your desire to pursue a future directorship career.<br> <br> &nbsp;</p>
Member (MAICD). <p>Your MAICD post-nominals solidify your commitment to governance in Australia. You’re most likely an aspiring or practicing director, interested in attending events, continuing your professional development and becoming an active member of the AICD community.</p>
Graduate (GAICD). <p>This sought-after grade is awarded to graduates of the AICD’s prestigious&nbsp;Company Directors Course™.<br> <br> <br> <br> &nbsp;</p>
Fellow (FAICD). <p>Seasoned directors who demonstrate, practice and advocate the values of good governance can apply for the Fellow grade. The AICD may also, at any time, elevate exemplary Members or Graduates to the status of Fellow. </p>
Life fellow (FAICDLife). <p>Recognised for their outstanding work and continued contribution to governance during their career, seasoned AICD Fellows are offered the honorary grade of Life Fellow.<br> &nbsp;</p>
