Alastair MacGibbon is Australia’s most recognised cyber security leader, and is the Chief Strategy Officer at CyberCX.
He most recently held the positions of National Cyber Security Adviser, head of the Australian Cyber Security Centre (Australian Signals Directorate) and Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on Cyber Security. Prior to those appointments, he served as the Australian Government’s inaugural eSafety Commissioner. Alastair previously headed eBay’s Asia Pacific Trust & Safety operations, and held several corporate advisory roles in cyber security. Alastair served as a Federal Agent with the Australian Federal Police for 15 years, during which time he established the Australian High Tech Crime Centre.
