Deakin University CEO Professor Barry J. Cooper recently visited AICD offices in Sydney to finalise a member-focused joint agreement between the AICD and the university which offers special benefits for AICD graduates of the Company Directors Course™ (CDC).

The agreement allows the AICD graduates to be recognised with credit points for prior learning and preferential Deakin Course fees for the Master of Business Administration and Graduate Certificate in Business Administration.

Professor Cooper, who is also Managing Director Associate Dean (Engagement), met with AICD CEO and Managing Director Angus Armour FAICD at AICD’s Sydney headquarters in September to announce the new agreement.

More than 20 universities now recognise the AICD Company Directors Course and International Company Directors Course and Deakin is the latest to offer credit transfer requirements.

From the Company Directors’ Course™ to a Masters of Business Administration – the pathway can provide graduates with a final flourish to the CDC.
