Stripe is a payment processing platform that accepts various payment methods for online purchases. We are changing our payment platform from BPoint to Stripe.

AICD is undertaking a program of work to modernise our core business systems. Changing our payment platform to Stripe, which is part of this change, allows us to provide a contemporary and seamless e-commerce experience to our customers.  

If your membership is set to auto-renew via direct debit, Stripe will automatically deduct your renewal fees from your nominated bank account. The process and timing for auto-renewals will not change, and there is no action required from you.

You’ll receive an email notifying you of this change at least 14 days prior to the first payment collection.

Our website supports payments via Visa, Mastercard, American Express and BPAY. One-off payments via a saved bank account are no longer available; auto-renewal payments from a bank account via Direct Debit will continue to be available as noted above. 

For data security reasons, our Membership Partners will no longer be able to process payments over the phone using your credit card details. Instead, they will send you a secure payment link via SMS or email, which you can use to make a payment. 

You will only be sent a payment link from us if you’ve requested one. All payment link emails will come from the following AICD email address: no-reply@aicd.com.au

If you’re not sure whether a payment link is legitimate, please do not hesitate to contact us.

  1. If you wish to pay over the phone, you’ll be sent a payment link via SMS or email. It will include the invoice number and payment link. 
  2. Select the link and enter your credit card details. 
  3. You’ll know your payment is successful when the ‘Payment successful’ screen is displayed.   
  4. Shortly afterwards, you’ll receive a receipt via email. 

Payment links are valid for 24 hours. If you do not pay within this window, you will need to contact us to request a new payment link to complete your transaction.

If your requested payment link doesn’t arrive, please contact us and we’ll reissue it. Payment links are only valid for 24 hours.

If your payment appears to have been successful at the time of payment, but you have not received a confirmation or receipt, your email address might be incorrect or missing from your AICD member profile. Simply log in to your member account and add/update your email address to receive all future communications.

If you find a previously saved payment method is not displaying it may mean some back-office processes to complete the transition to Stripe are still in progress. This is expected to be temporary and your saved payment methods should reappear in a few days. If you need to make a purchase before that time, you can still pay by entering your credit card details as normal, paying via BPAY, or contacting us for a secure payment link to be sent to your phone or email.
