Monday, 30 January 2023

The Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) has announced changes to its board.

After completing her six year term, Nicola Wakefield Evans AM FAICD retired as a director following the AGM in November.

The AICD extends our thanks and appreciation to Ms Wakefield Evans for the outstanding contribution she has made since joining the board as a national director in July 2016, and particularly her tireless efforts towards achieving greater gender diversity in Australian boardrooms and beyond. While Ms Wakefield Evans has retired from the AICD board she is continuing in her role as Chair of the Australian Chapter of the 30% Club.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of new national director Marina Go MAICD, who will be joining the board this month.

Ms Go is an experienced non-executive director and chair across ASX listed, private and not-for-profit organisations. She brings a strong customer focus specialising in digital strategy and reputational risk to her board roles.

Also joining the board this month is Dr Susan Neuhaus AM CSC FAICD.

AICD chair John Atkin FAICD congratulated Ms Go and Dr Neuhaus on their appointments and said the Institute was looking forward to the expertise, specialist skills and insights that they would bring to the boardroom.
