usiness leaders don’t need to be data experts, but they do need to be across data to a level where they can have meaningful conversations with people who are data experts, says Scheeler.

“We need to build businesses, cultures and leaders who are as dexterous with data as they are with other things they do – operations, human resources or finance,” he says.

Disruption is coming every day to business from consumers, competitors and technology, so leaders need to be aware that this is now going to be the norm for the next 100 years or more and plan accordingly.

In order to determine what data is needed, Scheeler says two lists need to be made involving customers. Find out what the lists are by watching the video.
