About the Climate Governance Forum
In 2021, the AICD joined the Climate Governance Initiative to host the Australian Chapter.
Launching the first Climate Governance Forum (CGF) was part of our mission to inform, guide and equip Australian directors to embed climate considerations into their organisation’s core strategy.
Now in its fourth year—and only 25 years out from the global goal of achieving ‘net zero’—the Climate Governance Forum 2025 brings together business leaders, investors, policymakers and climate experts to empower directors to turn ambition into practical, measurable and accountable action.
This one-day forum will explore how the geopolitical landscape is influencing climate governance in Australia, examine board leadership in transition planning, and hear insights from those on the frontline of climate reporting.
