There are varying levels of climate change capability and maturity in NFP boards across Australia. AICD’s 2021 Climate Governance Study revealed that NFP directors are concerned about climate change but unsure how it impacts their organisation and how to get started. The ‘Climate Governance Guide for NFP directors - Starting the journey to net zero’ is an introductory guide to help NFP boards begin their climate governance journey. It has been developed for the Climate Governance Initiative Australia by AICD and PwC Australia.

Join PwC Australia’s ESG lead, Jon Chadwick, and a panel of NFP directors, as they discuss practical steps, share real-life experiences, and address the complexities encountered by many NFPs, when responding to climate change.

The webinar will cover:

  • How to assess your organisation’s carbon footprint
  • Duties and expectations of me as a director
  • Understanding key stakeholder sentiment on climate change
  • Understanding the risks and opportunities for NFPs
