Highlights from Directing for Performance

In March 2016, the inaugural Australian Governance Summit focused on Directing for Performance. Excellence in governance is critical to the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of organisations.

Directing for Performance allowed directors and their fellow board members to consider the day-to-day relevant and topical issues affecting their organisation in the 21st century, and how their approach to governance impacts organisational performance.

The program featured some of Australia's premier directors and senior leaders from listed companies, private enterprise, not-for-profit organisations and the public sector.

The Australian Governance Summit emphasises the commitment of the Australian Institute of Company Directors to provide members with an event designed to enhance their governance capabilities. By bringing together governance experts and well-renowned speakers, our members and the director community have access to the most up-to-date thinking and knowledge from across Australia.
