Released every six months, this report is an aggregate representation of key indicators of sentiment, weighted based on importance. 

Director Sentiment Index 1H 2024

 

The perception of business conditions nationally, and across all states and sectors has continued to decline, and director sentiment about the current state of the economy is subdued.

The DSI has remained in negative territory for the fourth consecutive survey, with a slight improvement of 0.5 to -19.2, up from -19.7 in the second half of 2023 according to the latest Director Sentiment survey.

GENDER DIVERSITY REPORT

Diversity to support future challenges

In the AICD’s first Gender Diversity Progress Report for 2022 there is continued progress toward board gender parity being made by companies in the ASX 200 and 300, with the overall appointment rate of female directors remaining close to parity across the ASX.
