Bevan has been a CEO leading social justice organisations for the past 16 years. Central to each role has been a concern for individual human dignity, the realisation of rights and fair and equitable treatment for vulnerable members of our community.
Bevan commenced as the Managing Director of Victoria Legal Aid in August 2008 a position he held for 10 years. For the past six years he has led the growth of Launch Housing; a leading homelessness and community housing organisation, through the Covid-19 Pandemic and into the risk and opportunity phase that the new national conversation on homelessness and housing affordability is taking us. Supported by strong and independent Board’s in these public endeavours, Bevan appreciates the importance of transparency and trust in achieving results and maintaining his organisations social license to operate.
