Prabha is a leading human rights and discrimination lawyer with over 18 years of experience, specialising in areas such as workplace culture reform and business and human rights. She founded Elevate Consulting Partners to support organisations dedicated to positive social change. She is also the Founder of SafeSpace@elevate, Australia’s first independent trauma-informed reporting and support platform.
An innovative changemaker, Prabha is known for her ability to challenge norms and develop solutions to complex systemic issues. She held senior roles at the Australian Human Rights Commission for twelve years, including Director of Human Rights Law and Policy. In 2021, she served as the Director of Legal for the Independent Review into Commonwealth Parliamentary Workplaces and consulted on the National Music Industry Review in 2022, and the independent cultural review of EY Oceania. She played a key role in developing the new positive duty to eliminate workplace sexual harassment and discrimination and was a senior legal advisor to the Respect@Work National Inquiry in 2020.
In 2024 Prabha won the India Australia Business Leader of the Year Award. Prabha holds a Bachelor of Laws (honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Adelaide.
