Peter is a trusted advisor to Boards, Chairs and CEOs on Corporate Governance, Board Effectiveness, Board and CEO succession and Leadership Development. He is highly respected as an expert advising both listed and private sector enterprises across all industry sectors, within Australia/New Zealand and internationally.


Peter is the Co-Founder of an independent Chair and Board Advisory Firm, whose sole purpose is to service this unique leadership group on critical Corporate Governance issues facing organisations today, including Culture and Risk Mitigation as it applies to Leadership.

Up till 2024, Peter was a senior Partner of Russell Reynolds Associates’ Global Board & CEO Advisory Partners (BCAP). He was the Firm’s Global Operations Director, reporting to the Firm’s CEO, responsible for the operationalization of the firm’s strategy. Previously he was the Managing Director of the Asia Pacific region and a core member of the firm’s Global Operating Board.

Peter joined Russell Reynolds from DHL in 2007, where he was the CEO of DHL’s independent Asia-based Global Supply Chain business based in Singapore. He previously held global senior executive roles based in Europe with DHL and its parent, Deutsche Post World Net. Earlier in his career, Peter worked with PwC and TNT Limited. He began his career as a corporate commercial lawyer with Phillips Fox Lawyers in Australia.

Peter received both a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and was awarded his Master of Laws (LLM), from Queensland University of Technology in Australia. He was a practising lawyer of the Supreme Courts of New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria till he moved to Europe in the late 1990s.
