Linda O’Farrell is a company founder and non executive director, having enjoyed a senior executive career predominantly in the global resources sector.
Linda has shaped people strategy for leading resource companies and led the People and Infrastructure Services teams for Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) through a period of unprecedented growth from 2013 to 2022. Following her passion for helping people and companies thrive, Linda founded Go Higher in 2023, a for purpose people and culture advisory working across people strategy, wellbeing, leadership advisory, and group development programs.
Linda joined the Board of the Australian Institute of Management WA in 2018 and in 2019 joined the board of Lifeline Australia. Linda is also on the board of Austin Engineering, an ASX listed global engineering business in 2022. Linda has previously held the role of Vice President of AMMA, Australian Resources and Energy Group and is a member of Chief Executive Women.
After gaining a Bachelor of Economics (Honours in Industrial Relations) from the University of Western Australia, Linda commenced her career with CCIWA. Moving into the resources sector sparked her interest in leadership development, diversity, Aboriginal employment and building workplaces that support wellbeing and empowering cultures. Linda’s work has been recognised through a number of awards including the CME Women in Resources Champion award and the Australian Institute of Management’s Workplace Diversity Award.
