Group Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Westpac

Suzi is Westpac's Group Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion after 12 years with various other roles at Westpac including 3 years as Head of Indigenous Banking for Westpac Group. Suzi Hullick is leading the Westpac Group approach to a more inclusive and safer workplace, providing a new strategic direction to drive a more equitable workforce. Suzi has extensive leadership experience in both Commercial and Retail Banking, having held numerous senior leadership positions which have enabled her to work extensively with a large range of businesses, industries, Indigenous communities and in broad geographies throughout Australia.


Suzi has resided in the Northern Territory for some 30+ years, having moved to Darwin with the Royal Australian Navy. Throughout her career in the Finance Industry, Suzi has completed an Executive Leadership Diploma at Columbia NYC and Women in Leadership diploma at AGSM in 2015, and recently completed her MBA at UNSW specialising in Social Impact. She is also a Non-executive Director of Fisheries Research and Development Corporation and NT Aboriginal Investment Corporation boards.

Suzi has also represented Westpac at the Supply Nation Global Conference in the US in 2015 and 2016, been part of the Australian Canadian Business Council conference and study tour in Canada in 2018. Suzi established the Indigenous Employment Program within Westpac, an achievement which saw her recognised as Westpac’s Woman of Influence in 2012. Suzi continues to be a Women in Leadership ambassador, mentoring both within Westpac and external to the group and received a Westpac Bicentennial Service Honour award for services to Indigenous Australians.
