René Johnson MAICD

Managing Director, Pacific Search Partners

René is an experienced executive search consultant whose career spans both the consulting and corporate world. 

He is the Founder and Managing Director of Pacific Search Partners, an internationally aligned boutiqueexecutive search firm focussing on the appointment of Non-Executive Directors, CEO’s and C suite executives to listed and private companies, not for profits and Federal government agencies. He has worked on the appointment of over 200 Directors and Chairs to Australian companies. 

René began his career with PwC then moved client-side to Clemenger BBDO Advertising as Group Company Secretary. He then took up positions in the media sector in film, newspaper and magazine publishing holding positions such as Advertising Director, General Manager, Publisher and Board Chair. He has served on several industry Boards and is the immediate past Chairman of INAC Global Executive Search. 

Having partnered with AICD for over 15 years, he has presented to and worked with over a thousand emerging board directors on their pathway to finding board positions.
