Michelle Hughes, an accomplished Executive Leader, has amassed a decade of expertise in steering growth, innovation, team development, process efficiency, client experience, and governance. She is currently developing a portfolio of governance and non-executive director roles.

Michelle is a member of the MDL Group Board, Vice President of the Lourdes Hill College Past Pupils, and serves  the QUT Brisbane Trust Alliance, QUT Curriculum Standards Committee and QUT MBA Alumni Committee.

In her executive career, Michelle has held the pivotal position of Chief Marketing Officer at McCarthy Durie Lawyers, where she orchestrated firm revenue, spearheaded innovation, and ensured rigorous compliance. Her track record is punctuated by the successful implementation of automated customer feedback systems, with new development on AI and CRM integrations, and the achievement of substantial revenue growth milestones. Her role as a Partner at Atom / Hughes Group Consulting has seen her adeptly steer businesses toward expansion through strategic technology transformation and innovative process optimisation. Her entrepreneurial spirit lends itself to intrapreneurship, with the proven skills to convert idea to strategy, and implemented reality.

Dedicated to ongoing personal and professional development, Michelle recently completed a Master of Business Administration at QUT and graduated the Company Directors Course from AICD. Her commitment to learning and innovation led her to delve into the intersection of Trust and Technology Innovation for Professional Services.
