Lillian is an Australian lawyer with a professional background in social justice and a living experience with cancer. Currently, she is a non-executive director of Cancer Institute NSW and the Thoracic Oncology Group of Australasia, and an executive of Cancer Voices NSW.
Lillian has been appointed by the Federal Health Minister as an Advisory Council Member of Cancer Australia, and as an Australian Human Ethics Committee Member of the National Health and Medical Research Council, where she also serves as a joint member of their Consumer and Community Advisory Group.
With over 25 years of combined consumer advocacy experience within the financial services and the health and medical research sectors, Lillian has served on many advisory boards and working groups of government, for profit, and for purpose organisations, including the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, the (then) Financial Ombudsman Service, the Australian Clinical Trials Alliance, Cancer Council NSW, and Rare Cancers Australia.
