Leith is a highly experienced registered psychologist with an extensive background in workplace and counselling psychology. She is the Specialist Group Lead – Psychological Health and Safety (National) at Mapien. Mapien is a specialist people consultancy offering bespoke workplace solutions in industrial relations, workplace strategy, workplace psychology and immigration.
An expert in complex people issues, Leith has been leading psychological health and safety projects at both strategic and team intervention levels. Leith’s background has been across a range of areas within the profession of psychology, as well as human resources and organsiational development.
Leith advises leaders, directors and boards on the topic of psychological health and safety particularly in the context of the Australian Workplace Health and Safety Legislation and associated Psychosocial Codes of Practice. Her diverse background provides her with a holistic understanding of psychological health and safety factors that come into play for workplaces, and the complexity of mental health. Leith has previously held a board position for 5 years in the early childhood sector.
Leith is deeply immersed in leadership advisory and projects to support psychosocial compliance and facilitate uplift in mentally healthy workplaces. She has experience across a variety of sectors and industries. Leith also partners with IR and HR teams and experts at Mapien to ensure that there are cross disciplinary considerations and approaches provided to workplaces in this complex area of work.
Leith holds a PhD in organisational psychology and has lectured at an undergraduate and postgraduate level within a number of Australian Universities.
