Corporate governance professional with over 15 years of experience as a strategic partner to diverse boards and executives operating in complex external and internal environment.
Emilia has a deep understanding of corporate governance with experience in commercial governance (including long – term strategic investments), compliance and risk. Her particular interest is board dynamics and decision – making. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, holds postgraduate qualifications in Corporate Governance and Risk and is a Fellow of the Governance Institute Australia.
In her current role as the Company Secretary to the Board of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) she provides corporate governance advice to the Board and Board Committees and oversees the delivery of company secretariat services.
Her previous positions include working in international companies, government, and academic sector.
