About the Member grade

who joins as a member?

Professionals who join as Members are typically:

- practicing directors of a company or NFP
- CEOs or executives reporting to a board
- business owners/partners
- advisory board members
- professors (or equivalent)
- tertiary faculty heads (e.g. business, law)

Eligibility requirements

Members are required to either:

- Have at least two years’ experience as a director, executive reporting into a board or business owner/ partner; or

- Be the faculty head or professor at a tertiary institution.

DPD Requirements

Members are required to accrue the mandatory number of Director Professional Development (DPD) units to maintain their membership.
