Nominate now for the Australian Financial Review Director Awards

Nominations for the inaugural Australian Financial Review Director Awards are now open and close on Thursday 6 March, 2025. AICD members are encouraged to nominate themselves or a colleague. Award categories include director of the year, chair of the year and not-for-profit director of the year.

The awards celebrate the pivotal role that board directors play in shaping strategy and fostering sustainable business growth. These awards will highlight and celebrate outstanding leadership to enhance value for investors and strengthen governance across the corporate and not-for-profit sectors for the benefit of all stakeholders.

AICD Managing Director and CEO Mark Rigotti said the AICD was delighted to be a supporting partner on the program.

“The awards are a unique opportunity to profile the critical role directors play in our economy and society. Importantly, the awards will celebrate the contribution of directors from publicly listed, private and not-for profit companies.”  

The awards will be judged by a panel chaired by highly respected company director Catherine Livingstone AC FAICD, Chancellor University of Technology Sydney. A full list of judges can be viewed on the awards website.
