Yixiao Zhou is Associate Professor of Economics and Director of China Economy Program at Crawford School of Public Policy, The Australian National University.
Her research analyses international macroeconomic issues and policies, technology and innovation in economic growth, and the Chinese economy in a global context. Yixiao has published in leading academic journals and has won two Best Paper Awards in the academic journals China Economic Review and Economic Papers. She serves as President of the Chinese Economics Society of Australia. Yixiao has been recognised as the Top Researcher in Chinese Studies & History in The Australian’s 2026 Research Magazine.
