As current Chair of Energy Queensland, Sarah Zeljko is at the helm of Australia’s biggest government-owned energy company. She also holds Chair and Non-Executive Director roles within the utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, and product development sectors.
Recognised for her commercial acumen, Sarah has a record of delivering revenue growth in large corporations through developing and executing corporate strategy, negotiating commercial agreements, and project management across complex multi-million-dollar transactions.
Sarah previously served as a Director on the Board of Powerlink, and held professional non-executive director and governance Board roles with Brighter Super and Millovate as well as a number of not-for-profit organisations.
She is currently on the Board of Stockyard Beef, Verbrec, Unitywater, Venlo and Intellidesign.
In addition, Sarah is an admitted legal practitioner in the NSW and QLD Supreme Courts, and has held previous roles as General Counsel and Company Secretary for G8 Education, the Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal and Cement Australia.
