Katie is Senior Policy Adviser in the Education & Policy Leadership team of the AICD, undertaking policy and thought leadership work to promote world-class governance.
Katie has a specific focus on technology and innovation, including AI, and serves as the secretary of the AICD’s Governance of Technology and Innovation Committee.
Katie is a former practising corporate lawyer and before joining AICD, was a global public policy manager at Meta in San Francisco, specialising in metaverse policy and developer governance. She also has experience developing digital and privacy legislation within the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet’s Legislation and Policy team and was in-house counsel at a big-four bank.
