Mr West has over 40 years’ experience in financial services in the UK and Australia.
He previously held a series of senior executive positions, including as Chief Executive Officer of Vero Insurance and CGU Insurance, and as Executive General Manager of Insurance at MLC.
Duncan is Chairman of Challenger Limited and Challenger Life Limited and a Non-Executive Director of Suncorp Group Limited, Avant Mutual and Helia Group Limited.
Duncan holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and he is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
