Taleen is a Non-Executive Director with 30 years of experience across the government, financial services, advisory, NFP and tertiary education sectors and is trusted by boards, executives and Ministers.
An economist by training, she brings deep expertise in public policy, financial services and stakeholder governance, and is widely recognised for her strategic insight in complex regulatory and policy environments.
Taleen served on several boards including the NSW Government’s Council for Women’s Economic Opportunity, NSW Radiation Advisory Council, Reserve Bank of Australia’s Australian Payments Council, NSW Women in Economics, Armenian National Committee of Australia and the Australian Human Rights Commission’s Multicultural Advisory Group.
She was appointed Ambassador for Women’s Financial Literacy by the NSW Government and recognised by the Governor of NSW The Hon. Margaret Beazley as one of the state’s top 20 women in business.
She is a sought-after speaker and commentator on governance, financial services, women’s economic empowerment and business-government relations.
Taleen is an Ambassador and Honorary Lecturer for the University of Sydney, lecturer at QUT Business School, and her executive career includes Visa, Commonwealth Bank, and Commonwealth Treasury.
