Katrina Rathie FAICD

Director, SBS

Ms Katrina Rathie FAICD is a Non-Executive Director of SBS and Asia Society Australia. 


She was named Chair of the Year (Small Company) in the AFR 2025 Director of the Year Awards for her former role chairing ASX listed Bubs Australia Limited.

Katrina is a Fellow of the AICD and a Member of Chief Executive Women. She has participated in the Chair’s Mentoring Program. Katrina had a distinguished career in the law, including as Partner in Charge, Sydney at law firm King & Wood Mallesons.

She was named the Overall Winner of the Board & Management category in the AFR 100 Women of Influence List (2019) recognised for her outstanding contributions to leadership in the law, advancement of gender and cultural diversity across Australia and Asia.  

She holds Commerce (Accounting & Financial Management)/Law degrees from UNSW Sydney.

Katrina is the NSW Patron of the Asian Australian Lawyers Association and is proud to be a role model and champion for a more diverse, inclusive and multicultural Australia. She has been an Advisory Board member of Media Diversity Australia since foundation.

Her former roles include serving on the NSW Law Society’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, the Advisory Board for UNSW Law & Justice, the Culture Strategy Committee of the University of Sydney, Non-Executive Director of the Starlight Children’s Foundation of Australia, Non-Executive Director of NSW Rugby Union and Waratah’s Rugby, Vice President of Cranbrook School Council and Chair of the Cranbrook Foundation.
