Jim Parke is Managing Director of Parke Lawyers, a boutique Melbourne legal practice on Collins Street. An Accredited Specialist in Commercial Law and Certified Practising Accountant, he has extensive experience as a lawyer, company director and advisor.
He provides legal, strategic and commercial advice to business, corporate and private clients. A member of St Hugh's College at the University of Oxford, he is completing a Master of Science degree in Major Programme Management at the Saïd Business School.
Jim is a past Mayor of the City of Boroondara in Melbourne and has served as the Councillor for Bellevue Ward since 2012. Strongly community-minded, he served as a community member of the Adult Parole Board of Victoria and was the first-ever Australian elected as President of Crime Stoppers International. He has also served as Chairman of Crime Stoppers Australia, Chairman of Crime Stoppers Queensland, President of the Victims of Crime Association of Queensland and Deputy Chairman of Volunteering Australia.
