Matthew Holt

Associate Professor and Lead, Applied Cybernetics, ANU

Dr Matthew Holt is Associate Professor, Associate Director (Education) and Applied Cybernetics Lead at the Australian National University’s School of Cybernetics.  

Matthew has 30 years of experience in tertiary education and leadership. Widely published, Matthew’s research is in the history and theory of artificial intelligence, cybernetics, and systems thinking. With colleagues at the School, he is currently developing and delivering suite of short courses on cybernetic approaches to complex systems and the impact of emergent technologies, including AI.
