Jane M. Muirsmith FCA GAICD

Jane is an experienced company director and one of Australia’s leading digital strategists and advisors. She has a unique blend of skills and deep experience in digital transformation and accounting. Jane’s career has encompassed helping organisations leverage technology, data, and innovation to drive successful outcomes in the USA, Asia Pacific, and Australia.

Jane is a non-executive director of two ASX-listed companies - Australian Finance Group (AFG) and Cedar Woods Properties (CWP) where she is Chair of the Tech and Data Committee and Audit and Risk Committee, respectively. She is a non-executive director of The Kids Research Institute, where she is Chair of the Risk and Compliance Committee, and Water Corporation, where she is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee. Jane is the immediate past Chair of Healthdirect Australia, where she served for nine years, particularly during the pandemic for the Commonwealth and state jurisdictions.

Jane has extensive lived experience in managing crises, particularly 911 in New York City and the recent COVID pandemic. She has brought this experience to bear in evolving the risk framework and approach in the boards where she has served.
