Anthea Hammon

Managing Director

Anthea Hammon is the Managing Director of Scenic World, a third-generation family business which has been operating in the Blue Mountains since 1945 and welcomes nearly 1 million visitors per year.


Anthea is a director of Hammons Holdings, (Scenic World's Parent Company) which also operates BridgeClimb on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, as well as holding non-executive board roles at Western Sydney International Airport, slated to open in 2026, and the Western Parkland City Authority, responsible for development of the new city of Bradfield and driving the economic growth of Western Sydney.

Anthea has held a number of volunteer board positions across her 20-year career. In tourism and economic development, she is currently the Chair or the Standards Australia ME51 Committee which looks after the development of safety standards for the Australian amusement industry, and is actively involved in the tourism sector as the Vice President of Blue Mountains Tourism.
