Gai currently serves on the boards of three ASX-listed companies: Insignia Financial Group, Steadfast Group, and Waypoint REIT. She also sits on the board of HBF Health, Australia's fifth-largest health insurer.
Her governance experience includes chair roles at superannuation trustee, BT Funds Management and the innovative not-for-profit Humanitix. Gai's portfolio of previous directorships spans across sectors, having served on the boards of Helia Group, Investa Office Fund, IMB Bank, Toyota Finance Australia and Landcom and the Council of the State Library of NSW.
Executive Background
Before transitioning to her board career, Gai established herself as a respected leader in financial services, including 12 years with the Westpac Group. There, she held pivotal positions including oversight of the flagship Retail Banks in both Australia and New Zealand, while also taking on senior leadership roles within the group's wealth management division, BT Financial Group.

Gai built her early career as a legal professional, beginning in private practice before advancing to senior in-house positions, notably as General Counsel of the Perpetual Group.
