Elena is an experienced Chair and non-executive Director, currently serving as Chair of Perth NRM and President of the Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in WA. Additionally, she is a board member for South Metropolitan TAFE and an advisory board member for the UWA Centre for Environmental Economics and Policy.
With over 20 years in governance and strategy, Elena specializes in cooperative and mutual business models that generate social and environmental impact. She holds a PhD in sustainability and organisational resilience metrics, an MBA, and a Masters in Engineering. Elena's academic contributions include a decade as an Assistant Professor at the UWA business school, leading international research in governance, strategy, and business models for mutual organisations.
