Don’s career in the public health sector spans 38 years with executive leadership and clinical roles. He has worked as a registered nurse, midwife and critical care nurse in medium to large rural and large metropolitan hospitals.
Don is also passionate about aged care and has been active in commissioning research and influencing policy at both state and federal level. He represented the Public Sector Residential Aged Care sector in Victoria on the National Aged Care Alliance from 2015-2018.
Don relocated from Western Victoria to the Latrobe Valley in 2018 to take up the role of Chief Operating Officer at LRH. In his personal time, he enjoys winemaking and his wines have won awards at international competitions in London, Paris, Vienna, Singapore and Hong Kong.
