David is a Partner in our Global Finance & Risk Practice and a Director of Oliver Wyman Australia. In Twenty years with the firm in EMEA, North America and Asia, David has advised our most complex clients on risk, governance and strategy in all geographies. David has a particular expertise in risk management and has been involved for many years in sharing insights from the Global Risks Report. David has been significantly involved in our work with both private and public sector, including training government agency risk examiners.
David has held several management positions in Oliver Wyman including: Head of our Finance & Risk practice, Asia Pacific (2010-2012), Market Leader for Australia and New Zealand (2009-2013) and founder of our Digital Technology & Analytics practice in Asia Pacific.
David was awarded the CFA charter in August 2003 and holds a PhD & MA from Oxford University. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. David joined the firm from a lectureship position in Mathematics at Oxford University.
