Sally Carbon OAM OLY FAICD

Sally Carbon OAM OLY FAICD, was first placed as a Director of a WA Government Board when she was 22 years of age, more than 35 years ago.


She is the current Chair the 9000 team member, 19 services and 15% annual growth company St John WA, and has previously Chaired Australia’s business board Australian Sports Foundation as it pivoted to a technology company, and a WA private insurance Board, whilst being on its international governing board at the same time. She’s inspired by ‘doing a good job’ and believes that high performing boards don’t happen by accident. Sally founded G11 Team, a management firm, covering strategic work, team work and leadership. She’s consulted with resource companies like Woodside, Rio Tinto, and First Quantum, mid-to-large sized and growing private companies likes Perth Airport and French fashion label Daniel Hechter, and government entities, across all industries.  Sally’s most treasured executive role was being an executive director of Docklands Authority in Melbourne, a high-budget and large-scale urban renewal the same size of Melbourne’s CBD. She may also be known through her early sporting days, being a dual Olympian, and World Cup and Olympic gold medallist in the sport of hockey. Plus she’s had nine books published, and guides 12 CEO’s through their own high performance business journeys.
