Richard is an experienced Non-Executive Director and Chair of numerous listed and unlisted companies. His key industry expertise includes professional services, infrastructure, healthcare, banking, insurance, and agribusiness.
Richard’s current appointments include Chair of Hobart International Airport Pty Ltd and a Director of Friendly Society Medical Association Limited (trading as National Pharmacies), and Gardior Pty Ltd, Trustee of the infrastructure trust. He is a Director and former Chair of Indigenous Art Code Limited and Agency Projects Limited. He is also a Director and Deputy Chair of Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra Pty Ltd Prior to embarking on his career as a Director he was a Chartered Accountant in Public Practice and a partner at Ernst & Young (1988 to 1994) where he was National Director Corporate Recovery and Insolvency. He was a Liquidator or Receiver of many high-profile administrations, including Southern Equities Corporation (formally Bond Corporation Holdings Limited). He was previously a partner in Peat Marwick (1982 to 1988).
