Philip Beresford GAICD

Non-Executive Director, John Paul College

Philip has over 35 years experience working in finance and investments in Europe, North America and Asia/Pacific regions. He has worked for, or as an advisor to, some of the world’s largest banks and investment management companies guiding them through the leading technology solutions.


He has a Bachelor of Commerce, and an MBA, is a Senior member of the Australian Computer Society and in addition to being a graduate of the AICD he has completed our Boardroom Mastery course. 

As well as being one of our Division Councillors, Philip is a Director of John Paul College and the Chair of YFS, a social services organisation on the front line of dealing with homelessness and domestic violence. YFS is also the founder of Substation 33, an innovative electronic waste recycling enterprise. 

Philip has chaired multiple Audit and Risk Committees and sits on the Governance Committee of JPC.
