Penelope leads MinterEllison's national aged care and human services practice. She has over 25 years' experience acting exclusively for clients across the human services sector and has a unique understanding of the interface between human services and the health care sectors and the funding and operational challenges to service delivery.
Penelope advises private operators and State and Commonwealth Departments and agencies and has a strong background in sectors that require close adherence to regulatory obligations. Her broad experience across the human services sector means Penelope understands the complex policy settings and evolving legislative environment within which sector participants engage.
Penelope has a background as a disputes lawyer and has acted in a range of complex and high profile matters ranging from Royal Commissions and Inquiries, inquests and class actions.
