Matthew Everitt is a proud Taungurung man of the Kulin from Central Victoria, Australia. Matthew and his partner Fatima run Dreamtime Art Creative Consultancy (est. 2009) providing solutions, strategies, guidance for Aboriginal engagement and cultural preservation within the public and private sectors.
Matthew is graduate in Cultural Heritage Management, Indigenous studies, AICD and the Williamson Community Leadership Program at Leadership Victoria.
Matthew was the former president of the Aboriginal Art Association of Australia, previous Board Member of Kinaway - Victorian Chamber of Commerce and previous council member for the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) Victorian Aboriginal Employment and Economic Council (VAEEC). He was a member of the reference group to the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Victorian Summit Future of Commerce and Industry Vision 2050 – Thought Leadership.
Matthew endeavours to play a positive and impactful role within our communities and his work is driven to provide a paved pathway for his two children for their years ahead.
