Dr Josh Fergeus

Josh is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and has extensive governance experience.

A three-term Councillor at the City of Monash, Josh is President of the Victorian Local Governance Association (VLGA).

Josh' career has included current appointments as Chair of the North-Eastern Montessori School, not-for-profit aged care provider Ashleigh Community Ltd, and as a Board Director of the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission.

 Josh is also a Member of several decision-making Tribunals and Panels including:

• the Tasmanian Local Government Code of Conduct Panel, investigating alleged breaches of the Code by elected Councillors;

• the Mental Health Tribunal, considering applications for compulsory treatment orders under the Mental Health Act;

• the Patient Review Panel, considering applications relating to assistive reproductive treatment; and

• the Worker and Carer Exclusion Scheme Panel, ruling on allegations of abuse and neglect within the out-of-home care system.
