Jim Grant, through his company Jim Grant & Associates works with individuals, teams, and organisations to help them build their capability through high-performance team development, one-on-one coaching, leadership programs, cultural measurement, and development and organisational advisory roles.
Jim has been working with senior leaders in many of Australia’s and overseas top organisations for 35 years.
Prior to co-founding his first consultancy business, he worked at the executive table of several Global Companies in People & Culture as well as leading projects in Operations, Health & Safety, Business & Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions, at times responsible for over 6,000 heads in businesses worth over AUD$6B.
He was formerly the General Sectary of the Teachers Federation of Victoria. He has been consulting for 28 years and has worked with over 300 clients in multiple sectors locally and globally.
He has been a consultant to many Boards and has been a member of numerous NFP Boards including Chairing several.
He has been a judge for the Australian Employer of Choice Awards for many years and designed a global first tool measuring Business Acumen, which has had over 6,000 users.
He is the author of three books: Three Spirits of Leadership, Business and Professional Publishing, 1999; co-written with Fabian Dattner and Ken Luscombe, Leader as Coach Workbook, 2009 & The Emotional Intelligence Workbook (2014) co-authored by Dr Susan David of Harvard.
