Jacquie is a leading sustainable business expert and Partner in Deloitte’s Climate & Sustainability practice. She has spent her 20-year career advising ASX listed, multinationals and privately held businesses, government, and not-for-profits on strategy development, embedding ESG into complex businesses and on how to prepare, optimise, and use reporting and disclosure to drive organisational performance and build trust and reputation with stakeholders.
Jacquie brings first-hand experience in leading and scaling global sustainability/ESG teams and programs having previously held senior executive roles. She has worked across industries including retail, consumer goods, energy, technology and financial services.
Jacquie has been appointed to the Australian Accounting Standards Board's Sustainability Reporting Advisory Committee, which is guiding how the draft ISSB standards will be implemented in Australia. She is a Governor of World Wildlife Fund (WWF), a former Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Business Council for Sustainable Development Australia, an award-winning graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), and an affiliate member of Chartered Accountants Australian and New Zealand. Jacquie has also founded and run her own sustainability consultancy and teaches at UNSW’s Centre for Social Impact where she wrote the MBA subject Corporate Responsibility and Accountability. She is an alumnus of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston where she studied Strategic Innovation and holds a Masters in Sustainability from the University of Sydney.
