Geoff Brunsdon AM FAICDLife

Geoff Brunsdon AM FAICD(Life) is a career investment banker with deep
experience in financial services, real estate and infrastructure sectors across M&A, equity and debt capital markets. 

He has been a non-executive director across a range of sectors including Australian and international companies with operation in North America, Europe and Asia and has 20 years’ experience as chairman of ASX listed companies.

Geoff chairs PayPal Australia Pty Ltd and is a Senior Advisor to Planum Partners which provides real assets advisory services focused on infrastructure, real estate, and energy. He previously chaired Sims Ltd, MetLife Insurance, Dexus Funds Management and the Queensland Investment Corporation.

Geoff was a member of the listing committee of the Australian Stock Exchange between 1993 and 1997 and a member of the Takeovers Panel between 2007 and 2016.  He is also a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Geoff is a Patron of Redkite which supports families who have children with cancer, he is a director of the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists and Purves Environmental Custodians. He was made a Member of the Order of Australia in January 2019 for significant service to the finance, banking and insurance sectors, and to charitable organisations.
