David Armstrong is an independent non-executive director of NAB since August 2014. He is Chair of the Board's Audit Committee and member of the Board's Risk & Compliance Committee.
David has a deep understanding of banking and capital markets gained throughout his career in professional services, particularly auditing banks and other financial services’ providers. David is deeply experienced in accounting, auditing, financial and regulatory reporting, regulation, risk management, capital management and governance practices.
David has more than 30 years of experience in professional services, including as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). As well as a deep understanding of banking, David gained significant knowledge of real estate and infrastructure industries during his professional services career, as well as international experience in North America, Europe and Asia.
