Alexandrea Cannon is an active director with experience in the private, not-for-profit and government sectors. She chairs SALA (South Australian Living Artists) and UniSA MBA Advisory Board and is a Director of COTA SA.
Until recently Alexandrea was chair of SATAC, Credit Union SA and the Leaders Institute of SA. She is a former director of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, a cardiology practice, Country Arts Trusts in SA and Queensland, an accountancy and final planning business and TAFE SA. She also served for five years as a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors State Council prior to commencing as a facilitator 6 years ago.
Following a business background in international and national businesses in manufacturing, sales, financial services and the arts, she now conducts board performance reviews, assists boards with CEO performance planning and coaches Chairs, directors and CEOs.
Alexandrea is accredited in several coaching and business performance programs, a variety of psychometric assessment tools and holds a certificate in brewing science.
She has managed due diligence and merger integration teams at board and executive levels and been a visiting lecturer at Griffith University and the University of South Australia.
Recognised as one of Australia’s leading human resource management professionals, influencing the future direction of the discipline at a national level, she was awarded the AHRI Medal for her exemplary contribution.
