We are delighted to welcome Her Excellency the Honourable Caroline Wells, Governor of Tasmania, as our keynote speaker. Having recently commenced her term as Governor, Her Excellency will share her perspectives and reflections with the Tasmanian director community before presenting the 2026 AICD Gold Medal Award.

This prestigious event recognises outstanding leadership and celebrates directors who have made an exceptional contribution to governance in Tasmania.

The Gold Medal is awarded to an outstanding Tasmanian director in recognition of their commitment to exemplary corporate governance, high ethical standards, and distinguished service to business and the broader community.

The lunch will also feature Naomi Edwards FAICD, Chair of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, alongside other special guests from Tasmania’s business and governance community.

Reconnect with fellow directors and business leaders over pre lunch drinks before enjoying a two course seated lunch as we celebrate this year’s award recipients and recognise the contribution of directors to strong governance across Tasmania.

Speaker

Her Excellency the Honourable Caroline Wells
