Working in small groups, participants will form a mock board and navigate a challenging AI Governance case study. As the scenario unfolds, you'll be required to assess risks, challenge assumptions, balance competing priorities and make decisions within realistic time constraints.

Drawing on the experience and perspectives of those around the table, you'll explore the dynamics that shape board decision making and consider how individual behaviours influence outcomes.

Led by an experienced facilitator, the simulation will explore:

  • Recognising and avoiding groupthink in board discussions

  • Making decisions under pressure and uncertainty

  • Understanding how unconscious bias can influence judgement

  • Building trust and drawing on diverse perspectives around the board table

  • Contributing constructively to discussion and decision making

This practical session provides an opportunity to apply governance concepts in a boardroom setting, test your thinking and learn from the experiences of fellow directors.
